Course content

This course combines FEI’s comprehensive Licensed Real Estate Agent - Spain material, fulfilling all theoretical requirements, with weekly three-hour lectures by FEI’s real estate experts. Each session is followed by a one-hour live lecture led by senior Fastighetsbyrån staff, focusing on Fastighetsbyrån’s internal processes, policies, and compliance.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the legal, regulatory, and practical aspects of working as a real estate agent in Spain. This course equips agents with essential knowledge in Spanish property law, taxation, appraisals, sales processes, marketing, and technology tools, empowering them to navigate Spain’s dynamic property market effectively and confidently.

Module 1: Spanish Real Estate Law

Explore the key principles of Spanish real estate law, including consumer rights, data protection (GDPR), and anti-money laundering compliance, alongside property transaction legislation and region-specific regulations. This module covers a range of topics critical to safeguarding clients and ensuring lawful practices.

Module 2: Real Estate Taxation

Understand the complexities of Spanish real estate taxation, addressing obligations for residents and non-residents, capital gains, inheritance, and wealth taxes. This module also highlights tax benefits and compliance strategies for property investors.

Course delivery

  • Obligatory course introduction on-site in Alicante: For new course participants, the first two introductory days at FEI Business School in Alicante are mandatory.
  • Course duration: 7 weeks, with 6 three-hour lectures with industry experts from FEI Business School, followed by an additional one-hour session led by senior Fastighetsbyrån staff.
  • Access to materials: Comprehensive reading materials are provided via our digital student portal, MYFEI, matching the Licensed Real Estate Agent - Spain curriculum.
  • Format: Delivered online through our FEIFLEX hybrid learning model, offering live participation and flexibility, whether attending remotely or in person.

The course is only open to employees of Fastighetsbyrån Utland. A minimum of 15 Fastighetsbyrån employees is required for a course edition to commence.
